Therapeutic Massage Therapist
Part Time • Montpelier
Job Summary
We are seeking a licensed Massage Therapist to work out of our successful, established practice as an 1099 Independent Contractor. As a Massage Therapist, you will tailor massage treatments to your patient's individual needs and health goals. The successful candidate will be knowledgeable in a variety of massage styles, possess a deep knowledge of human anatomy and the musculoskeletal system, and work well as part of a holistic wellness team. You communicate to us what you want your weekly hours/schedule to look like, we help book appointments with our extensive clientele. The therapist working out of our office currently works most Thursday, Friday, Saturdays. Her schedule has been filling up regularly, and she's not accepting more massage clients at this time. We have the demand for more MT evening massage hours. Current room availability multiple days per week with the strongest demand being from 3pm-7pm. Let's talk!
Preferred person would
- Perform a variety of massage and body treatments
- Educate clients on the services and products offered as well as the therapeutic benefits of regular massage therapy
- Maintain accurate records of each session
- Schedule, confirm, and reschedule appointments if need be
- Follow up with clients you haven't seen in a while
- Build relationships with clients to assist them with meeting their wellness goals
- Ensure a clean and safe facility respecting the room/ the next therapist to occupy the space
- Complying with all applicable standards, rules, and regulations of the trade
- Communicate with our office your available hours to be scheduled, and updates as needed
- Provide the supplies/tool needed to maintain a professional & hygienic workspace and treatment environment
Qualifications
- Hold current state license and liability insurance to practice massage therapy
- Looking for someone skilled in performing deep tissue, Swedish, and maternity massage modalities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strongly service oriented with an ability to communicate effectively with clients in a one-on-one setting
- High level of ethics and integrity.
- A passion for helping people look and feel their best.

Compensation: $51.75 - $66.00 per hour
